Setting a new JOhio online record

for those of you who care about visitors and such... let me give you a quick backround...

The two most important Traffic facts to know about your website is the number of visitors each day... and the number of unique visitors each day. Obviously, the first number is larger because it counts all of the repeats throughout the day.

Well, I have kept a close eye on our numbers since day 1. September was our worst month. It was the last month of Gary and Jon and Jay's "reign" ... which, although they didn't do much for folks in our state, they (especially Gary) brought in traffic from around the globe.

Once October hit, they were gone and activity slowed ALOT. Funny thing is that traffic picked up and surpassed the previous month. November then came and continued the trend....

Well.... looking back, I am not sure exactly what the exact peak number was.. but during the time when Jay was soliciting BBTS for advertising, I remember our average number of visitors a day (not unique), was 176. That was during May and June of last year.

Well, just two days ago we hit a new high. On the 13th of January, we had 426 visitors, 267 of which were unique. We have had a steady increase in traffic for a long time... and now that it is surpassed what the old numbers were by THAT much, I wanted to share it all around.

JOhio is alot more popular a place than we realize sometimes.

Just wanted to share that with ya'all.
