star trek 3/34 figures

Postby Dragongravy on Sat Apr 11, 2009 9:29 pm

the other night i managed to snag one of the star trek 3 3/4 figs. i got captain pike. i mainly got him for a couple of reasons. i wanted to check out the quality and i was really interested pieces that are packaged in for the build a bridge and build a trandporter room.

the pike figure himself is really cheap feeling, but the articulation isnt bad. if you leave him on the shelf to look at him he looks pretty good. the real treat how ever is the playset pieces packed in. honestly i think these are almost worth the 7 bucks alone. they scale well and fit alot of the joes, unless they have a bulky holster or diaper crotch. i put one of my tele vipers in the chair and he fits really well. i imagine the old arah style would fit even better. i really think i am going to snag the new bridge play set to make a control room for cobra.

i hope to get pics up soon, i am so back logged getting pics taken posted, i will try and get caught up tomarrow.

How many pieces are you supposed to get with each fig? What else came with Pike?

At what store did you find the figures?

i found them at the howe road toys r us. i am afraid brett beat you all to the 3 3/4 figures though lol.

the number of pieces varies but pike came with a com console and a blue chair. it takes 17 figures plus the bridge play set to complete the whole set piece.

Samantha, they were in abundance at the North Olmstead TRU, except Uhura. They had all the new Terminator stuff as well.

Raising and old thread I know, but I went on some toy rounds and I believe Target if they have them are clearancing out their Star Trek toys so get them if you liked them lol.

I think Meijer was doin the same, but you have to search around as they like to put their clearance stuff everywhere.

They're all on clearence for $3.28 now at Walmart now and they still have a lot of them.
I got Kirk, Ohura and Spock before, but I probably won't buy anymore until they're about a buck each.
